Use of the Car Park.
The surface repairs and new line markings on the School car park should make its use much safer for both children and cars. However, this will only work if everyone uses it appropriately. Please note that:
- The car park is a one-way system, in the direction of the arrows – clockwise only, please.
- The spaces marked lengthwise along the edge nearest the School are “No Parking: Pick up and Set Down only”. Older children can be dropped off here to make their own way to their classrooms. This will ease demand on the parking spaces in the centre of the car park.
- Please park only in the marked bays in the centre of the car park. The area in front of the brick power enclosure is reserved for buses which collect and return children going on excursions.
- When parking in the centre, please walk your children along the walkway provided between the rows of cars, and across the pedestrian crossing to the School entry path. – and vice versa.
Adhering to these simple rules will ensure that moving children and moving vehicles are kept separate, and minimise the risk of accidents.
Helpers Needed for Canteen Days
Come and have fun helping out the Cycle 3 children prepare lunch orders and you’ll also do most of your community hours for a term! Hours are 9.30 to 12.00. Contact John Bury (Karri class pocket) or office.
